Artificial intelligence (AI) plays an increasingly important role in our everyday lives and also in the construction industry and the design and optimization of smart buildings. These sophisticated buildings utilize advanced technologies to maximize energy efficiency, security and user comfort. In the following work, the advantages and disadvantages of AI are explained and presented in more detail and the benefits of smart buildings in relation to sustainability are examined in more detail. It offers a good introduction to the topic of AI and its transformative impact on the way we use and experience smart buildings.
